Kanye West Lawyer Says Sex Tape Was Stolen from Mr. West’s computer

Kanye West Lawyer Says Sex Tape Was Stolen from Mr. West’s computer

Earlier this week it was revealed that a website was shopping around a sex tape that showed Kanye West with a woman who looked much like his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
A lawyer for the Chicago rapper has issued a takedown notice of the screenshot that the website provided as proof that the tape was indeed in existence.
“Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer,” wrote Kanye’s lawyer Lisa M. Buckley of Pryor Cashman in a statement to Allhiphop.com.
“Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity,” added the notice.
“We hereby demand that you: (1) immediately cease and desist from posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the illegally obtained Screen Shot of Mr. West.”
