Very few celebrities have been able to make a mark on their circles. Even fewer have been verified on Twitter. But for the late Afrobeat legend cum activist, Fela Anikulapo Kuti these are but small feats. The twitter handle of the late legend recently got verified by Twitter. This means that despite passing on to the great beyond, the activist is still recognized as a force to be reckoned with.
According to  blogger, Ladun Liadi the twitter account was opened about 3 years ago and since then has garnered a lot of follower-ship  Currently, the handle has about 4,006 followers. This just goes to show the impact that the music legend has on the society around him. The legend passed on about 15 years ago in 1997.
